Season Week 8! Panther late goal nips Wild 5-4! Preds 4-goal 3rd tops Sharks 7-6!

 

Prep Panthers: 5  Prep Wild: 4  

In the early game, the Panthers and Wild each logged 1st period goals for a 1-1 score after 1. Dominic D'Agostino (2G) got the Wild on the board, while Bradyen Shapiro(1G) notched a tally for the Panthers. In the 2nd, the Wild took the lead, with goals from Charleston Laurie(1G) and Gavin Baker(1G), while Boden Keefe(1G) added a goal for the Panthers. The Wild led 3-2 going into the 3rd. The final period turned out to be a see-saw affair, with the score knotted several times. Benjamin Keefe(1G/1A) scored for the Panthers to tie the game at 3-3. Dominick D'Agostino scored his 2nd of the morning for the Wild. Killian Weston(1G) scored the 4th goal for the Panthers. In a 4-4 game late in the 3rd, Jack Erickson (1G/2A) scored the go-ahead goal. The Panthers withstood a furious Wild rally in the final minute to hold on for the 5-4 victory. The Panthers outshot the Wild 34-16. Between the pipes, Stella Ritchie and Noah Transleau were stellar, keeping the game close throughout.

Prep Predators: 7  Prep Sharks: 6

In the late game, early goals from Felix Manev (2G) and Jake Baker(1G) had the teams knotted at 1 after the 1st frame. Sebastian Wilk(1A) chipped in with an assist. In the 2nd, the Sharks put 3 on the board, with Noah Transleau(4G!) pacing his team with an early hat trick. The Predators Jack Erickson(2G) and Ethan Shrayev(2G) kept the game close at 4-3 after 2 periods. In the 3rd, the teams traded goals, with Jack Erickson of the Predators scoring his 2nd of the game and Felix Manev and Noah Transleau continuing to keep pace for the Sharks. Gavin Baker(1A) added an assist for the Sharks. With several minutes to play, Ethan Shrayev tucked away a Rimon Ghawali(1G/1A) pass to break a 6-6 tie for the Predators. In the closing seconds, the Sharks Noah Transleau whistled a shot over the net at the buzzer. The Predators held on for the 7-6 win. Between the pipes, Austin Shrayev notched the win for the Predators, while the platoon of Sawyer Lazarus and Ethan Vainchel kept pace for the Sharks, who were outshot 24-18 by the Preds.

There is still time to register! 2025-26 season registration pricing is as follows: $200 per Prep and Junior League skaters, $175 for siblings, and $150 for the Learn to Play Hockey program. Note that we do have an equipment lease program where parents can get loaner equipment for the season (with a deposit check). The lease program is first-come, first-serve limited only by our on-hand equipment.

The Wellington Roller Hockey Association offers loaner equipment  for beginner and first time skaters of all ages, including goalie gear.  Email us directly, or let one of the coaches at evaluations know you are interested.

Donations Accepted
