Regular Season Ends! Wild outlast Panthers in Ironman Classic 7-0! Predators hold on for 5-3 win over Sharks!

 

Prep Wild: 7 Prep Panthers: 0 

In the late game, it was an Ironman classic, as the Wild and Panthers played a no-stoppage 4-4 battle, each with only 1 sub skater. It was 1-0 after 1 period, with Gavin Baker(1G/2A) scoring for the Wild. In the 2nd, Dominick D'Agostino (2G) and Andrew Brauner(2G) extended the lead to 3-0 Wild. Blu Wahl turned away some chances for the Panthers, who had a strong push to start the 3rd. The Wild added a few late goals to close out the scoring. Charleston Laurie(1G), Charlotte Baker(1G/2A), D'Agostino and Brauner all scored. The Wild outshot the Panthers durng the contest 26-6. Blu Wahl stood tall between the pipes.

Prep Predators: 5  Prep Sharks: 3

In the early game, the Predators led 2-1 after 1, with goals from Ethan Shrayev(3G) and Blaise Otero(2G). Sebastian Wilk(1G) countered for the Sharks. The Preds extended their lead to 4-1 after the 2nd period, with Otero and Shrayev each getting on the board again. Hudson Joffe(1A) chipped in with an assist. The Sharks trimmed the lead to 4-2 early in the 3rd, with a goal from Mason Mueller(1G). Ethan Shrayev scored again for the Preds. A Felix Manev(1G) closed out the scoring for the Sharks. The Preds held on for the 5-3 win. Blu Wahl made some big saves in a game where the Preds outshot the Sharks 27-22.

Prep Skills contest on 1/20/26:  

On a chilly Tuesday night, Prep and Learn to Skate skaters met for the league's annual Skills Contest. Skaters competed in the Goalie Shootout, Sharpshooter, and Fastest Skater contests. At the end of the event, trophies and ribbons were awarded to participants.

Note that we do have an equipment lease program where parents can get loaner equipment for the season (with a deposit check). The lease program is first-come, first-serve limited only by our on-hand equipment.

AAU membership/registration (insurance) is again required to participate at the rink for practices or games during the 2025-26 season. AAU Link: https://aau.rsportz.com/ Cost is $22.00 per player for the year. Our club code this year is UA2WZFZQU

Take Advantage of Our Loaner Program!

 

The Wellington Roller Hockey Association offers loaner equipment  for beginner and first time skaters of all ages, including goalie gear.  Email us directly, or let one of the coaches at evaluations know you are interested.

Donations Accepted
